Look how thrilled I am to be in the snow! Notice my sweet hat Erin? Pictured in this post I am teaching Erica how to levitate a snowball and you'll see my very first snowman. Erica's no snow angel...I see that snowball she's making! You'll also see my backyard and the view from my house when it was really coming down. The "cool" icicle is our backyard hose. And the Santa we found in a shop on Main Street.
Hall family goings on, things we don't want to forget (and maybe a few we do), the kids grow up so fast! We want to cherish and savor it all.

Happy Halloween! - October 2008
Sleeping pumpkins is how dad and sis party at the Helzer's. Mom and Erica took us around the neighborhood. It was kind of scary for me and I can't understand why they thought I would enjoy it. I guess it's supposed to fun because you get candy, but if you ask me, it's not worth walking around in the dark for! :) But it's cool 'cause I got to run around my front yard for a while after we were done. And I also helped race to the door whenever trick or treaters rang our doorbell. It was way more exciting than trick or treating myself. Plus, I already get candy when I use the potty, so I'd rather do that (since I need to do it all the time anyway!) than go knocking on doors at night and walking near scary pumpkins and skeletons. Speaking of the potty...I told mom last week all by myself that I needed to go and I did! I'm still learning, but mom and dad were pretty excited when it happened. I'm just growing up and becoming more independent each day. I can go in and out of my room as I see fit. Why, just last night I came out of my room and turned on the TV without mom seeing me! I knew she was in Keira's room and that I could escape her view to turn on the "night night" show on Sprout. When mom came back, I'd already made it back to my room, but I forgot to turn off the TV! Oh well...I'm still learning:) The magic word is something I've just learned too. Dad taught it to me. I think that "please" can really help to get me places. So watch out! Also pictured...Keira was a good sport when mom and dad thought it would be cute to take a picture in just her overalls...they were right.

My latest adventures - October 2008
"I love it, I love it!" I said when dad brought me home my very own potty last week. And a few days ago, just days into potty training mom asked me "do you know what that means?" after I went on the potty, and I said "I get m&m's!" Then I moved the footstool for mom to get them out of the cabinet. I occasionally sing on the potty and sang a few songs the other day for mom. She didn't seem to know what they meant, but I think my pitch is improving and am finding that the bathroom is a great place to practice.
I enjoy saying "Thank you sooooooo much" a lot lately. I don't know where I picked it up from, but the parents seem to respond well to it:) Mom doesn't, however, respond well to "mommy do it" all the time...or another one of my favorites lately "I neeeeeed it, I neeeeeeeeeed it!" But that's okay because if I'm stressed out from not getting what i neeeeeed, I'll just go for a slide down the slide backward. It's a great way to blow off steam.
Below I am holding grandma's hand at the water park at Bellevue Crossroads. I saw the bear try to catch a fish and offered some of my snacks to the elephants. As soon as I saw them, I said "elephant!" and made my best elephant noise while raising my arm like a trunk.

I'm a big girl now! - August 2008
I just turned two years old! Mom and dad FINALLY took off the side of my crib so that I can get in and out all by myself. But I actually really like hanging out in sister's crib a lot. Below are some pictures of us on my birthday morning. I've got some sweet snuggling skills:) You see me below at my birthday party at Bothell Landing with Maddie and blowing bubbles with Evie. The first time Keira giggled was last week when mom nuzzled her tummy with her nose.
