"KamiHalla" week with the Kamikawa's. Haley took video of Pi eating that I could watch all day. She picked up a marshmallow first and chewed on it before realizing she wanted the Kix she grabbed instead.

June 2017 - First steps and more
June 12, 2017 - Piper took a step a week ago at a wedding reception reaching for a table and didn't repeat it again until yesterday when hanging out with Erica and Travis upstairs. Then she went for it a little while after one step and took four steps to mom. Good times.
Ella the dog. Pi enjoyed trying to pet her. No fear.
Spent time with Madison and Bailey.
Piper's look says it all...she knows she shouldn't be snooping around her sisters room but they're both gone!;)
While mom and dad went to the Sounders game Piper got to take a nap with grandma.

May 2017 - First words and first birthday
May 9 - Pi has been saying her version of "hi" for weeks now. Although her first forms of communication were clapping or clicking her tongue and saying "ahhh" after anyone drank water. Now she says "uh-oh" anytime something doesn't seem right. Here she is on her first birthday eating chocolate cake like a champ.

April 2017 - Coast with Kamikawas and Keira's 3rd Grade Ethnic Luncheon
So much going on and it's not even Easter yet! Devils punch bowl in Otter Rock over spring break with the Kamikawa's!
11 month picture at grandma and grandpa Boo's house, spring break.
Piper inspects Farley's toy basket after meeting for the first time. She approves of the bacon flavored bone.
What to do when your power goes out after school...Menchies. It had been PJ day for Ella and Ellis Island simulation day for Keira so they were all dressed up, or down, but no matter. Nothing could stop these kids from going to Menchies! Keira was owed Menchies for 2 hits at her last softball game, and Ella for getting first place from Shelton View's team at the Math is Cool competition.
On Ellis Island simulation Day for Keira I got to ask kids about their background at the immigration check station.
Keira was assigned to be a Polish girl who liked to sing.
Poor deprived Pi has never been in a kid swing until now. Weather was beautiful for what seemed like the first time in months. Ella was watching on the sidelines because she was home from school sick.
