Gloria and Wipenomis - August 2009

I named my favorite cat in the whole wide world Gloria, and a stuffed dog of mine Wipenomis. Speaking of animals...below are pictures of the following: Us at the Animal Farm at Forest Park in Everett (I was more interested in the hose behind me than petting the goats), Alara and Keira check out the chickens, I try to free the rabbit, Keira looks great using the stuffed balls for something else besides throwing, we get pretty silly when Kyle visits, I look for a snack and Keira finds the good stuff, Jason and Debbie's sealing, mom and auntie Heather at the Portland Temple for the sealing, and Maddie's birthday party.

"Stop, stop!" - this is what Ella will cry if she doesn't want you to go anywhere or if you're doing something she doesn't like. She'll do it pretty sincerely and matter of fact."Umm.......yes!" is Ella's response after carefully considering many important questions these days, i.e. 'do you want juice?'I can't sit Keira into any bouncer/swing/car seat in the house without having to unbuckle all of the buckles these days. Ella really likes to buckle things up. She got upset on Sunday after she realized she didn't get to buckle herself in."Thank you mommy" and "bye-bye guys" are a regular part of Ella's vocab these days. She continues to enjoy figuring out how gadgets work, including mommy's keys. She found the alarm button on them this month and managed to scare herself to pieces, and Keira chimed in, startled, as well. We call a demo like this in our home these days "stereo" when both kiddies are crying:(

July 2009

Here I am at the annual 4th of July pancake breakfast at the Bothell fire station. This year I got my very own bike helmet since I'm learning to ride my tricycle. I got my face painted (below) before getting ready to ride my tricycle in the parade.

Mom got to go to Arizona to see Daniel sealed to aunt Heather and uncle Andrew.

Mom got a kit from the library about noises and it came with sweet noisemakers that you can put around your wrists and ankles. Good times.

You hide, I'll find you - June 2009

I made sister giggle a lot tonight after dinner by playing hide and seek. She is especially good at finding me. It probably doesn't help that I tell her to come find me from where I'm hiding, or that I just hid there the time before. It's still fun. Maybe I'll find some new hiding places to throw her off.

Wiggle wiggle wiggle go - June 2009

Today, I sang "Wiggle wiggle wiggle go!...wiggle wiggle wiggle go!...Hold still!........... ,from Yo Gabba Gabba, to sister after lunch and we shook our heads together. And Keira is walking more each day. Mostly to mom. Maybe if I coat my fingers with pixie stix candy, like dad gave me today, she'll walk to me next time. She seemed to like it after I gave her a tiny bit after asking mom's permission of course.

Keira's first steps! - May 2009

I'm so proud of my little sister. She took her very first steps today into mom's arms. Below are some pictures of what we've been up to lately. Mom and dad and grandma and grandpa took us to the aquarium and a worker took out a star fish for me to touch.

Swimming in my dreams - May 2009

Mom and dad just came in to cover me up for the night and I half woke for a moment to tell them that they turned the lights off and then said something something about swimming...here's why. You'll see my favorite swim teacher Erica. Keira is still "testing the waters" as they say.
