Keira's first steps! - May 2009

I'm so proud of my little sister. She took her very first steps today into mom's arms. Below are some pictures of what we've been up to lately. Mom and dad and grandma and grandpa took us to the aquarium and a worker took out a star fish for me to touch.

Swimming in my dreams - May 2009

Mom and dad just came in to cover me up for the night and I half woke for a moment to tell them that they turned the lights off and then said something something about swimming...here's why. You'll see my favorite swim teacher Erica. Keira is still "testing the waters" as they say.

My Perspective - May 2009

You know mom and dad let me take pictures sometimes so I thought I'd showcase a few that I've taken over the last couple of months (I can't take credit for the pictures of me obviously;) Sis looks about as thrilled as I am to go to Costco in the first picture. I see you in the rear view dad! Erica's friend Julie came to visit. And whenever dad is grilling (or cooking for that matter) you know it's going to good! Also, Kim came over and held sis and took the picture of me with sis.

Kids Museum - May 2009

Keira is trying to snap her fingers because she saw grandpa do it. Spending time at the Children's Museum in Bellevue with the grandparents and Grammy is so much fun. We do it pretty often and never tire of it.

Easter / Birthday Girl - May 2009

Happy Birthday sis! I can't believe that you're already 1 year old! You did a great job on your first peice of chocolate cake. Good job on getting your first teeth after turning one. I had a great time at your party with Grandma, Grandpa, Gram, The Hall's, the Rosensprung's, the Braithwaite's, and the Olsen's! My birthday gift to Keira is that I will now allow her to contribute more to this blog at times. I also got to hang with my cousin Cleo! Kim helped me open my sister's present:) I played with the toy vacuum that K got because she just wanted to play with the wrapping paper. K's contribution to this post: All I wanted was a car for my birthday and I got it! Then you see me trying to figure out how much gas and maintenance will cost with the abacus. I think I'll need a bigger allowance. A pony ride too! You guys really went all out for my birthday;) Those pictures are taken at the children's museum again...you'll see E wearing her water apron all around because she didn't have time to take it off...too much fun to have.

Enjoy the Easter pictures. I enjoyed Easter, even the two minutes of egg hunting at Doug Allen...boy they go fast! Kim took the picture of Ella in her smile shirt.
